Season Thirteen - Episodes 1-3

Episode 1: Treehouse of Horror XII
Scully's last full season might've been Season Twelve, but he was still the showrunner for these few Season Thirteen starters. After last season's mishit THOH's return near to the top form in this one. First segment had too little laughs and therefore were the worst of the segments, but the two other segments were actually quite good. They were very memorable segments. Mediocre first segment takes the rating down to 7/10, but big improvement from last season.

Episode 2: The Parent Rap
This was a decent episode. Good premise is used well. There's nothing major wrong with characterizations and there is some decent jokes in it. That said it's really nothing special either, it's not one of the greats. Constance Harm was a good sidecharacter and she was used well. Overall strong, if not superb showing. 6/10.

Episode 3: Homer the Moe
Not terrible, but not particularly good episode either. Plot was all over the place and they get viewers well riled up by having that completely useless yet frustratingly mysterious Bart digging a hole -plot. Then again, Bart digging a hole wouldn't have been enough for an episode. Still, I still wonder when it's dark why the hell he was digging in this episode... It ends up with Homer shooting Moe while hunting and somehow REM got into the mix. I guess that's sums it up well. At least it has some hilarious gags. 4/10.

18 episodes today. Still not meeting the pace, but I'll try make up for it tomorrow.
